TarotReview: The Gilded Tarot by Ciro Marchetti

I am currently on my third deck of these because I, well, the first one I threw away, convinced that tarot was evil. wore out the first one!  I got my first deck years ago from the now defunct Borders Bookstore.  Something about these cards called to me from the shelf and was my first deck and my primary deck.

They’re insanely cheap and great reimagining and visualization of the traditional Rider-Waite deck.  The colors and images are vibrant and breathtaking.

I think my favorite card in the deck is The High Priestess.  The card is fantastically reimagined but then again, so are all of them.

This deck will not break the bank for sure.  It comes complete with a book that discusses the history of the tarot briefly and gives great descriptions of each card in the deck.  It does not deal in reversed image meanings, unfortunately.

It also comes with an awesome fold out poster of some of the more popular tarot spreads so you can practice.

This deck will always and forever be my all-time favorite!
