So many people all over the world have had either an out of body experience or a near death experience. What is astounding is the experiences seem to all be quite similar no matter the religion, socioeconomic status, or region of the world.
While I have never had a near death experience, I have had an out of body experience that is unbelievable.
The Out of Body Experience
The out of body experience is literally the feeling of being outside of your own body in a manner in which you can actually observe it.
My out of body experience occurred when I still worked for the state many years ago. Oftentimes, my coworkers and I would go to the local grocery store near the office to pick up lunch as they had a lunch buffet that served hot food. We all took turns driving to the store and this day, I was simply a passenger in the backseat with my three other coworkers.
As usual, we were all in the car laughing and joking and had pulled out of our parking space and were waiting to turn out into traffic when, out of no where, a car comes barreling toward the back where I was sitting. I had no time to react logically but in that moment, everything slowed down to slow motion.
What I can only describe as being lifted out of body, I saw myself sitting in that backseat and literally saw my body be pushed by what I now believe to be an angel or my protector spirit guide all the way to the opposite side of the car, practically in the lap of the coworker I was sharing the back seat with, away from what would be the impact position. I remember being completely calm and watching this as an observer, much like we are when we watch movies.
Instantly, I remember being fully back in my body. I could feel the adrenaline rushing and my heart racing. The car that was going to hit us stopped only inches short of the door where I was sitting.
“Oh my GOD!!!! I would have never thought to move like that, Larry!!! I was just waiting on the impact,” one of my coworkers screamed in amazement.
The Near-Death Experience
Near death experiences (or NDEs) are quite similar to out of body experiences in that there’s a complete sense of being outside the body and being able to watch it as an observer. What separates this from an out of body experience is often the feeling of levitation and going to the White Light and being completely at peace and harmony and not wanting to return to your body.
I personally have not had a near death experience but there is a story of when my grandfather did.
So many people around this world have both experiences and come back to this life better for them.
